Social manner is a must-learn skill to anyone in this world. And each country have different ways in socialing.
Frence: Social is a major part of life for the French. French people are usually very enthusiastic and are good at talking. They love joking and thus dislike melancholy or silent people. They also love freedom, which leads to a lack in organization. If you are going to have a date with a Frence, you need to make an appointment with him or her ahead and arrive on time, but be ready for the late of him or her. The French are likely to greet each other with shaking hands, hugging and kissing.
Germany: Germans always impress the others with their unique style of socialing. They value the organization, honesty, and time a lot. The German act in a very strick manner. For example, when shaking hands, Germans will stare into each other's eyes, and the time of shaking tends to be longer, while the times of shaking tends to be more and the power of shaking tends to be stronger. Also, they pay great attention in the way of calling the others. A German will be annoyed being called by first name only. Instead, calling by full name or last name is acceptable.
Poland: When socialing with each other, the Poles are famous for their elegant manner. In Poland, the most common way of greeting is by shaking hands and hugging. Kissing hand is also very common in some parts of Poland. Usually, kissing hand is the way to greet a married female, and easpecially indoor. When kissing, the male should raise the female's hand with both hands and kiss the finger tips or the back of hand lightly. A kiss with sound or a kiss on the wrist will not be acceptable.
Egypt: In Egypt shaking hands could only be done with right hands. And the kissing ways are differed into the following catagories: Face kissing: Usually used between families, easpecially females. Hand Kissing: Used when showing thank to the elders or benefactors. Flying Kiss:
Usually used between lovers.
Aside from these, there are some bizarre ways of socialing in all over the world. E.g: In India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and some other countries, people greet with shaking hands politely, as in their culture, shaking head to the left means respect and agreement, while nodding head means disagreement, which is contrary to the "shaking no nodding yes" culture in China.
