区别一：意思不同

1、stop指普通的公交车站，尤其是指中途停车站，例如：I'll race you to the bus stop。

2、station指火车站、长途汽车站，例如：He has gone to the bus station half an hour ago。

区别二：用法不同

1、Station 通常有一个固定的建筑物，表示一个地点，而 stop在口语中经常指代目的地。在公交上经常会因为睡着、疏忽等出现坐过站的情况，可以这样描述I missed my stop。

2、Bus station一般指代可换乘的大站，如终点站和转乘站，如果想说自己要坐五站地铁或者火车，则有I have to take 5 stops / stations。

区别三：侧重点不同

1、Stop指任意公交车或者地铁停靠的站，station有房子等设施，例如I waited at the bus stop on the corner of Chambers and Baum Street。
