for和because的区别是什么

because是连词,相当于for the reason that,可用于直接回答why问句,可放于句首和句中.如:I did it because he told me to;
for即使连词又是介词,是一个用法和词义都特别多的单词.做连词用时,在句中表原因时一般用逗号或“——”隔开,如:we listened eagerly,for he brought news of our family.用来解释前面已做的叙述原因、理由.做介词时表原因用来解释说明原因,不用逗号隔开,通常是“由于,因为”的意思,如:she gave an watch for my birthday.二者在使用的时候要注意具体的差别,还有多在文章中找一下这些意思的句子,细细体会.

    because的语气特别强烈,用来引导直接的、具体的和明确的原因,用来回答以“why”开头的特殊疑问句,一般放在主句之后,because引导的从句放在前面时应在主句和从句之间加一个逗号。例如:

      (1)A: Why are you late again? 你为什么又迟到了?

      B: Because the traffic is bad. 因为交通堵塞。

      (2)He didn’t come with me because he had a lot of things to do. (= Because he had a lot of things to do, he didn’t come with me.) 他没有和我一起来,因为他有很多事情要做。

    4.for表示所说的理由是一种补充说明,因此,for引导的从句可以放在括号里,而且for引导的从句一般不放在句子的开头。例如:  

    I decided to stop and have lunch, for I was feeling quite hungry.
