改为：we couldn't work out the problem _if__ she _didn't__ help us. 没有她帮忙，我们就无法解决这个问题。

第一。用过去时是因为这是个虚拟语气，
并不是表示她真的没有帮助我们，
而是为了强调她的帮助对于我们的重要性。
第二，用过去时是因为主句的couldn't就是用的过去时，
后面的从句应该与主句保持时态一致。

2 this is a photo of _me__(i) i will tell you a story about it. 这是我的一张照片，我告诉你其中的故事。

其实me和mine都可以，主要看句子的意思是想表达什么，强调什么。
句子里的a photo of me是“我的一张照片”，意思是：照片上的那个人就是我，我想给你讲讲我当时为什么要做出那个表情，为什么要摆那个POSE。
“a photo of mine”= a photo of my photoes
只表示“我自己拥有的众多照片中的一张”，并不一定是拍的我，照片上的人有可能是我同学或朋友。也不一定是我自己拍摄的照片，有可能是其他人赠送给我的。

ours是个名词性的物主代词，us只表示“我们”
ours = our friends
a friend of _ours =a friend of our friends.

首先，在一个具体的详细的语境里，
