5.在S + vt. + it + adj.(n.) + that-clause”句型中，当it是形式宾语，后接that 引导的宾语从句时，that不省略。
e.g. 1)We have made it clear that we will learn to deal with various difficult problems.
2)We think it important that college students should master at least one foreign language.
6.当that 引导的宾语从句后紧接着作主语的that (this )时，常不可省略。
e.g. 1)He thought that that was a washing machine.
2)He said that this was not his book, but his sister’s.
7.当一个动词带有两个或两个以上宾语从句时,第一个that可省可不省,第二个以及其他的that不可以省略;
e.g. 1)She told me（that）she lived in Beijing and that she was an actress. ..
2)He said that the book was very interesting and that all the children like to read it
8.介词except ,but ,besides, in 等后跟that 引导的宾语从句时。如：
e.g.The Swede stood quite still, except that his lips moved slightly.
9.当when,who, what ,where ,why ,how 等引导的从句与that 引导的从句作主句谓语动词的并列宾语时。 如：
e.g. 1)I know what the time is and that the wind remains low.
2)I’m sure where he lives and that he is living a happy life.
