My winter holiday
From the nineteenth of January to the eighth of February is our Winter Holiday. I think everybody did a lot of things in the Winter Holiday.
I spend a lot of time on the homework. Every day in my Winter Holiday, I always got up late. Then I listened to the tape. Then I ate breakfast and then I did my homework.
There’s a very important festival in China. It is Spring Festival. We celebrate it in many ways. I wore new clothes and ate lots of nice food during the festival. I had a big dinner with my family members on New year’s Eve.
After the dinner, we watched TV or fireworks. I visit my friends and relatives. Old people gave me red packets. I had a good time during this holiday.
I’m full and happy on this year’s winter holiday.

I had a holiday for three days.

On the first day,

We decorated our home with balloons and flowers.

On the second day,

I went shopping on New Year’s Day.

I brought a lot of delicious food.

On the third day,

We visited Yu Garden and had lunch at there.

Family members get together and have dinner at home or at restaurants.

What did you do on New Year's Day?

It's really a special memory for me on New Year's Day. My uncle and my aunt came back from Shanghai. My family were very happy to stay together with them during the days. And it was the most exciting festival of all the festivals.

On New Year’s Eve, my father and my uncle talked about their work together. My mum did some cooking with my aunt Grandparents and I watched the New Year TV programmes. At about six o’clock, we had a special family dinner. We all thought the dumplings were delicious.

On the first day of the New Year, we visited our relatives. In the afternoon, we went shopping in Jiefanf Road. My uncle bought some Jay’s CDs. He likes Jay’s music very much. There were so many people on the road. It was more alive than any other time of a year.

On the second and the third days, we spent a wonderful weekend in the country. There were much bigger trees than in the city. And the animals were more beautiful than in the city. We all enjoyed ourselves.

I had an interesting Spring Festival. How about you?

How do you plan to spend your Winter Vacation?

Winter Vacation is just around the corner.
This time I want to do something meaningful.
I'm going to spend an hour reading every day because I want to learn new things from the books.
I think learning is such an important thing.
And I also think having a strong body is as important as our learning.
So I'm going to have an apple every day,because an apple a day keeps the doctor away，as the saying goes（就像俗话说的）.
This is my winter vacation's plan.
That sounds so great that I can't wait for any moment.
