物理碗是高中阶段物理学领域最著名的比赛之一,在这个测试中表现出色,对任何人的大学申请都会是份令人印象深刻的补充。只能通过合作学校报名,无法个人报名

高中生,没有年级限制;

报名截止:2024 年 3 月 11 日;

比赛日期:2024年3月20日(45分钟)考试包括40道题,全部为选择题。

考试所涵盖的主题,会在高中物理课程中涵盖,考试学校内或者线上进行。
division 1:高一学生(IB10年级,A-Level的G1年级部分优秀学生和G2年级)建议选择Division1考题。
division 2:高二,高三学生(IB11-12年级,A-Level年级)选择Division2考题。Division2难度大于Division1
*注:Division1部分为1-40题,Division2部分为11-50题。

每年的平均分数在16到20分之间;从去年成绩来看,进物理碗TOP100,Division 1至少要考30分,Division 2要考32分

物理碗考查的知识范围与AP物理12大致相当,也有少量知识点如光的颜色、物理学常识超出了AP物理考纲。而这部分知识并不难,却往往成为拉开差距的关键题,所以要想在物理碗中取得高分,一方面要在备赛期间有针对性的补上AP物理范围之外的知识,另一方面要在平时多关注物理学领域的最新进展,如诺贝尔物理学奖等,尽可能多的积累物理学常识。
从考试技巧和考场应对策略来讲,45分钟做40道题,时间紧、阅读量大,对阅读能力和反应速度要求非常高,并非题目简单就一定能拿高分。相当一部分学生在规定时间内只能完成30道题左右,且不一定能保证正确率,所以提高阅读能力、解题速度和正确率是备赛的关键。
