关于there be 的主谓一致的问题

T T请问there is/are going to a concert and two competitions 是is 还是are啊 我的理解是 因为there be句型中的be是位于to后 be going to中的be随着主语所变化 there be句型也可以看做一个倒装句 那么将句子倒装回来主语则是复数 所以我认为那里应该填are 但是我们老师说is 应该怎么理解呢？ 谢谢了！！！

there be句型的be动词与最前面的主语保持一致，我们把这称为“邻近原则”或“就近原则”举个例子：There are two apples and an egg on the table.在桌子上有两个苹果和一个鸡蛋。 There is an egg and two apples on the table .在桌子上有一个鸡蛋和两个苹果。而There is/are going to a concert and two competitions.靠近be动词的主语是单数，所以选is.如果是There is/are going to two competitions and a concert .be动词就用are。 刚开始可能会分不清，不要着急，多多练习，就会分清的。加油！
