笔记上记的是:methods of doing=means of-干...的方式.但上网查了下大多数用的都是by means of而没有means of的相关用法.
提问:1>有没有means of的用法?如果有是不是"干...的方式"?后面是不是加doing?
2>有没有a/the mean of?是什么意思?后面是不是加doing?
3>有没有by the mean of?是什么意思?后面是不是加doing?

methods of doing……与means of……前都要加by才能连入句子中
你的笔记记得没错，因为等号两边都没有by

没有a/the mean of，mean主要是动词或者形容词
作名词时意为平均数
没有by the mean of……
means的意思是方法，方式，单复数同形
mean是另一个单词，意为意思,用意等

另外of是介词时，后面的动词都要加ing，也就是doing
