so 和neither的用法告诉下谢谢,详细点的。

如题所述

so是“所以”的意思neither是“都不”的意思so是可以当做conjunction(连接词)来用可是neither不可以。而且一般so放在句首或是句中,Neither一般放在句子开头。而且一般neither用来说2种东西。类似于说,苹果和香蕉我都不喜欢而so是说,因为我不喜欢水果,所以我不喜欢苹果和香蕉举个例子:I don't like fruits, so I don't like apples and bananas. I like neither apples or bananas.其实这两个单词还是比较容易分开的,因为本身的意思都不一样

So and neither We can use the words 'so' and 'neither' to show agreement and to save us having to repeat main verbs (buy, talk, study) or auxiliary verbs (be, have, can etc).

在表示同意的时候,我们使用 'so' 和 'neither' 这两个字,这样就可以不重复主要的动词 (buy, talk, study) 或 助动词 (be, have, can etc).

So 表示相同(用于肯定句)
We can use 'so' to mean 'too' or 'also':

Helen: I'm a student.
Khalid: So am I. (= I too am a student.)

Alice: I work in a hospital.
Paul: So do I. (= I also work in a hospital.)

Neither 表示相同(用于否定句)
'Neither' is used in a similar way to 'so' but is used to show agreement with negative statements or ideas:

She doesn't like coffee and neither do I. (= I don't like coffee either.)

Helen can't speak French and neither can Tim. (= Tim can't speak French either.)

Auxiliary verbs and main verbs 用助动词代替助动词
There are two types of verbs we need to think about with 'neither' or 'so' - auxiliary verbs and main ones.

In these examples, the person agreeing repeats the auxiliary verb (with the appropriate form of it):

I have three brothers.
So has she.

He can't swim
Neither can we.

He's from Canada.
So am I.

I must do my homework and so must you.

Main verbs and auxiliary verbs 用助动词代替一般动词
In these examples, the first person uses a main verb (i.e. not an auxiliary verb) and the person agreeing uses the verb 'do' (and the appropriate form of it):

She loves playing tennis.
So does he.

He doesn't work on a Saturday.
Neither do we.

He's from Canada.
So am I.

I didn't like that book
Neither did I.

Suppose so / Hope so / Afraid so 应该/希望/恐怕...是这样的...
We can also use 'so' in answers instead of longer 'that' clauses:

Khalid: Are you ready to go?
Tim: I suppose so. (= I don't want to go but I suppose that I am ready to go.)

Teacher: Will you have finished your essay soon?
Student: I hope so. (= I am looking forward to and expect that I will be finished soon.)

Tourist: Excuse me. Is the museum closed today?
Tourist information officer: I'm afraid so madam. (= I'm sorry to tell you that the museum is closed today.)
