Today I went to the local store (加to) do some shopping. When I went to a store, two foreign visitors (去掉were) happened to be there. The salesgirl didn't know (that改成what) they wanted to buy because they couldn't speak Chinese. (Saw改成Seeing) this I offered to help them. (In改成With) my help, the two men got the things they wanted. They were very glad and thankful to (her改成me).
How happy I (am改成was) that day. Though I knew (加a) little English, I could help (other改成others). It makes me further realize how important spoken English is. I'll work even (hard改成harder) at it than before.
