a little 和 little 其实没有很大的分别，只是前者少而足够，后者少得可怜不足够。
He has a little rice, but I only have little! (举例：他只有不足半碗，我只有三颗米。)
a bit 是指很小的分量，通常跟of连用，如：a bit of beer is enough. 当然，little也可。
a lot of 意思上跟 lots of完全相同，只是不同的表达方式，可数与不可数名词也适用。
other 和 the other只是有否加了冠词the的分别
others和the others 就是描述人的，如：How about the others?那其他人呢？
any other是还有没有其他的，如：Any other suggestions?还有没有其他建议？

a little: 一些，一点儿。用于修饰不可数名词。
little：没有。修饰不可数名词。
eg：i have a little money. 我有一点钱。
I have little money.我没有钱。
a bit在肯定语境中约等于a little,但通常后面要接of。
eg:He knows a bit of English.

a lot of=lots of 许多；
eg:A lot of people here have seen the film.=Lots of people here have seen the film.

other, 其他。后面接名词；
eg：other people/things.

the other:一定范围内或两个人(物)中，特指剩下的“另一个”.其复数形式the others,指两个部分或两部分人中的另一个部分.

eg:I'll take this one,you may take the other.我要这个，你可以拿那个。
This article is better than the others.这篇文章比其余的好。

others:泛指别的人或物.

the others:一定范围内，除去一部分人/物，剩余的全部用

eg: she is beautiful, what about the others?

Any other:是指在同一范围内除了某人或某物以外的其他人或事物
