1、平时养成词汇、短语的积累习惯
词汇量是决定英语水平高低的关键性因素，平时的词汇积累就至关重要了，背单词和短语除了掌握它们的拼写还应该掌握其读音、词义、词性及用法。
2、熟练掌握简单句的结构
五种简单句的句型要熟练掌握：
（1）主语+系动词+表语+其他
He is a teacher now.
The music sounds beautiful.
(2) 主语+谓语动词+其他
He works hard ever day.
(3) 主语 +谓语动词+宾语+其他
He made a model plane yesterday.
(4)主语+谓语动词+宾语+宾语+其他
He gave me a book last week. 人是间接宾语物是直接宾语
还可以写成：He gave a book to me last week.
He bought me a book yesterday.
He bought a book for me yesterday.双宾语的句型转换有的需要在间接宾语前加to有的需要加for，我们平时要善于总结和积累。
常用的后面跟双宾语的动词有一下几个：
在间接宾语前加to的有：give、award、offer、send、show、tell、write等。
在间接宾语前加for的有：buy、book、cook、fetch、make等。
（5）主语+谓语动词+宾语+宾语补足语+其他
I want him to study English hard.
The girl made the boy very angry yesterday.
（6）另外There be句型也是我们在写作中经常用到的句型，也应该熟练掌握。
there be 句型在初中阶段重点考查三种时态
一般现在时：There is/are...
一般过去时 There was/were...
一般将来时:There will be.../There is/are going to be...
3、熟练掌握并运用主从复合句
初中阶段所学的主从复合句一共有三个：宾语从句、状语从句和定语从句，能够熟练的运用复合句可以提高你的作文质量和水平。复合句的讲解在以往的文章中有所讲解，这里就不在赘述了。
4、对于基础较差的同学在写作文的时候一定要避免零分作文出现，可以根据所给要点写出相应的单词和短语，判卷老师也会酌情给分的，这样可以避免零分作文的出现。
在写作文时应该采用哪些步骤呢？
1、审
认真审题，要做到审体裁、审时态、审主语、审事件。
2、列
根据所给要点在草稿纸上列出大纲。
3、连
把提纲用恰当的连接词连在一起，根据要点适当的加以补充完善。学会使用连接词，使句子与句子之间、段落与段落之间更加的连贯。常用的连接词有：
(1)、表示顺序的连接词：first/firstly, second/secondly, third/thirdly; then, at last/ in the end/ finally,next等。
(2)、表示因果关系的连接词：because of；as a result；so 。so/such ...that... 等。
(3)、表示并列关系的连接词：both…and, either…or…，neither...nor...;等。
(4)、表示目的关系的连接词so that...,in order to...,in order that...等。
(5)、表示 转折关系的连接词：however，but，although/though,instead of...等。
(6)、用于举例说明的连接词：for example，such as，...and so on等。
(7)、用于递进关系的连接词：what's more/what's worse; even ; not only…but also…, besides等。
(8)、短文开头常用连接词：as we all know；first of all；to tell the truth等等。
(9)、结尾常用的连接词：in my opinion；I think...,after all;above all ; in short ;in a word 等。
4、查
认真检查，查体裁、人称、时态、单词拼写、语法错误、要点是否齐全，段落层次是否清楚（一般情况下初中的书面表达分成三段，采用总-分-总的结构）、标点是否正确、字数是否达标等等。
5、抄
认真抄写在答题卡上，字体规范，字迹工整，做到卷面整洁。
I am so excited to give a speach here today.The topic of my speach is my dream school.
First, the environment of my dream school should looks like a garden. There are trees and flowers along the roads. Also, students are willing to help each other so they can get along well. Teachers and students can be friends and understand each other. Finally, there should be many interesting activities after class.
In my dream school everyone are happy and enjoy study.
2.................Can you tell me what your school will be like in the future ? Now let me tell you something about my dream school .
My dream school will be very different from the ones now. There will be large and nice classrooms, but there will be about ten students in each classroom. In the classrooms there will be a satellite TV, but there won’t be blackboards. Every student will have a big desk. On the desk there will be a pretty computer and printer. Students will just sit in their chairs and talk to their teachers on the computers. If we have any question, we can send the question to teachers by E-mail. What’s more, we won’t have too much homework to do every day. Instead we will have lots of experiments and some oral work every day.
In a word, in the future schools will look more beautiful, and the teachers and the students will work and study more easily. We will have a happy and relaxing school life.

3.............. I always feel tired after eight classes a day, so my dream school starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. There are three lessons in the morning and two in the afternoon. We can choose our favorite lessons to learn. We can spend more time doing some outside reading. The students do after-school activities for one and a half hours every day. We needn’t do a lot of homework. We are all happy to stay at school.
Besides that, my dream school looks like a big garden. There are many kinds of flowers around the modern buildings. Sweet perfumes are diffused all around. If I want to have a rest, I can lie on the grass, listen to music by the lake or look out at the flowers from the classroom windows.
The teachers here are kind and helpful. They are not only our teachers but also our good friends. The students are polite and friendly. We all know how to keep our school clean and tidy. There is no litter around the campus.
I love my dream school. We will grow up to be happier there.
