aeroplane和airplane专指普通飞机，不包括helicopter(直升飞机)。aeroane为英国英语的拼法。

plane：本义为“平面”，在航空专业里通常用aeroplane。plane较通俗用词。

plane：既可作名词，也可作动词和形容词。

三、用法不同

1、aero：通常用于表示常见的机械类的飞机。
