你 isolate是不 是打错了，应该是 islaote吧。首先应该是被动（句子就不翻译了），应该是be located，但是已经有动词was，所以应该是动名词或不定式，不定式排除，因为逗号后面不能跟不定式。也就是being islaoted。另外这个动名词也有表示状态的意思。
3.D
根据意思括号里应该填“虽然”，as和while都有这个意思，但是“as”不能位于句首，while却可以。
就上面2个我拿准了。
