1979年的电影《歌声泪痕 The Rose》的主题曲，由Bette Midler演唱发行，并夺得了白金单曲。影片《大人物拿破仑 Napoleon Dynamite》(2004)使用了此曲，此外宫崎骏的作品《岁月的童话 おもひでぽろぽろ》(1989)的片尾曲“爱は花、君はその种子”亦是由这首歌曲改编的，都はるみ(北村春美)演唱。平井坚在专辑“Ken's Bar”中也翻唱过这首歌
