my
speech

“Neglect
the
adversaries”.
In
2005,
I
took
part
in
the
6th
Annual
CCTV
Star
of
Outlook
English
Talent
Competition
in
Shandong
Province.
In
the
final
competition,
I
was
the
21st
contestant
to
stand
on
the
stage,
when
I
was
watching
the
match
among
the
audience,I
found
that
those
contestants
spoke
English
so
well
and
I
began
to
worry
if
I
could
perform
as
well
as
them.
I
was
so
nervous
that
I
even
couldn’t
tell
what
the
word
“shoulder”
meant.
Just
imagine
how
terrible
the
result
I
got
was!
One
year
later,
in
2006,
I
got
the
chance
to
participate
in
2005
National
English
Proficiency
Competition
for
School
Students
Shandong
Finals
after
the
two
contests.
This
time,
My
number
was
No.2,so
I
couldn’t
see
many
other
contestants’
performances
before
I
got
onto
the
stage.I
felt
much
more
relaxed
and
spoke
English
more
fluently.

had

nervous

realized

is
that

about

to
do
was
only
to
try

best
,
and
that
was
enough.

can
feel
relaxed

natural.

is
