以-ior结尾的形容词表示比较时， 必须与to连用
【错例】The socialist system is more superior than the capitalist system.
【改正】改more superior than为superior to。
【句意】社会主义制度比资本主义制度优越。
【资料】以-i or结尾的形容词本身就是比较级形式， 不可再在它们前面加more或者在词尾加-er。这些词是superior较优的，inferior较劣的，senior较年长的， 较高级的， junior较年幼的，职位较低的，prior较前的， 较重要的等。
例：He issuperior to others in pronunciation。
在发音方面他比别人强些。
