在非限制性定语从句中，关系代词who / whom均可以作宾语。但是，若 关系代词作介词宾语并且介词提前的话，不能用who，要用whom。例如：

There is a man standing at the gate, who / whom Mary stayed with yesterday = There is a man standing at the gate, with whom Mary stayed yesterday.
需要注意的是关系代词that不能引导非限制性定语从句。例如：
