Personally speaking,I prefer Chinese traditional festivals to western festivals.There are dozens of reasons behind my belief. Firstly,keeping the pace with our own development,traditional festivals have been always with us.Maybe due to familiarness,we sometimes take them for granted.But once we have lost them,we will find out that they are closest to our heart.So under no circumstences can we undermine the value of our traditional festivals. Secondly,tradional festivals help us to tight our relation with our families.Chinese people think highly of family.During traditional festivals ,we can meet our relatives and know how they are going on recently.This can help to make our ties more firm. Thirdly,through traditional festivals can we learn many about the culture and custom of our own country,which are the roots of our development. Last but not least,traditional festivals are the symbols of our country.To ensure our country's better prospect in the world,there is no doubt that we should keep our tradition and introduce it to the world. To sum up,as for me,the traditional festivals hold more weight than the western festivals.Not only should we cherish our traditional festivals but also is our obligation to develop them.
