with sb's promise 以……的承诺；带着……的承诺
整句话的意思：你不能只带着你的承诺回去，因为我们现在还依靠着你。

答案：B

stand 是立场的意思
因为逗号后面也是一句主谓完整的句子，所以前面一定是一个分词结构，四个选项里只有B才是分词结构，是作原因
整句话的意思：我的立场是这是什么，所以我必须反对他们的提议。

3 The brilliance of his satires was -----make even his victims laugh.
A so as to B such as to C so that D such that
答案：C

这句话要这么看The brilliance of his satires was such 这是上半句，这里的such是形容词，解释为“这样的；如此的”
下半句是定语从句……that make even his victims laugh. that指代the brilliance of his satires
so as to是不定式结构，前面不可以加be动词
整句话意思：他讽刺的光辉是如此的，甚至连他的受害者都会笑。

positive是正面的意思，意思不对
sure的话，应该这么用：sb's sure ,也就是I'm sure that……
no doubt的话前面有almost 不能这么用
所以应当是certain

答案：How else

因为这里作副词，也就是可以去掉不影响句子结构的
把else去掉，应该是how would you solve the problem if this method failed？
问的是方法，所以what就不对
意思：如果这个方法失败了，你还会怎么解决问题？
