我是一名中国人，名字叫某某。因为对老师正在研究的课题和领域十分感兴趣，所以想参加贵大学院8月份的举行的研究生考试，如果考试合格，希望进入老师的实验室，今后能在在老师的指导下，进行学术研究。
在这里，请允许我做一下简单的自我介绍：我今年27岁，山东人，大学时期的专业是通信工程。2006年到2007年在中国的某家公司工作过一年，主要工作内容是工业摄像头的外围电路设计。
因为我一直想学习先进的电子技术，所以2007年的11月份，进入了某家日本公司工作，一直工作到现在。
但是，最近一段时间，对自己的技术能力深感不足，所以考虑辞掉现在的工作，到大学里继续学习研究。
前些日子，在网上看到了老师正在研究的领域以及研究成果，特别感兴趣，所以想进入老师的研究室学习。将来取得学位后，想回国成为一位老师，把自己所学到的知识教授给更多的年轻人。
不知道能否得到和老师见面的机会，想当面得到老师的意见和指点。
百忙之中，邮件打扰，深感歉意，此后也请多关照。

Please forgive me for contacting you with such a blunt mail.
I'm Chinese and my name is xxx. I would like to take the entrance exam of the postgraduate school of your respected university which is to be held in this April because I'm deeply interested in your current project and field. If I'm so lucky as to pass the exam, I wish that I could work in your laboratory and do academic research under your instrution.
Here please allow me to make a brief self-introduction: I'm 27 and my hometown is Shandong. I majored in communication engineering in university. Between 2006 and 2007 I worked in a Chinese company for one year and my major task was peripheral circuit design for industrial camera.
For I have long been wishing that I could get more advanced electronis technologies so I entered a Japanese company in November,2007 and I'm still working there.

However, recently I feel a serious shortage in my technical ability so I'm now considering quitting the present job and going to university where I could continue my study and research.

Several days ago I read your current research field and achievement and was very interested in it. Therefore I would like to study in your research laboratory. When I get my master degree I hope that I could return to China and pass on the knowledge to even more young people.
I'm wondering whether I would be so blessed as to get a face-to-face meeting with you and recieve your advices and instructrions in your presence.

I apologize a lot for interrupting you in your packed days and beg for your care in the future.
