高中英语问题

1.I'm afraid you speech doesn't read well though it is well written.
doesn't read well的用法"是不是规律性动作用主动"?那well written呢?难道是adj.?如果是adj.那应该是well- written..到底怎么解释?
2.-Sb.has spilt coffee on the carpet.
-Well,it wasn't me.
感觉好怪,口语中谁说的那么烦.
3.If there is to be peace,we must try in every way to prevent war.
怎么解释?
4.-Where have you been all this time?The plane is about to take off.
我觉得用过去式更适合.哎~~怎么很好得分清楚过去式还是完成式.I'm so confused by this.
5.lack of 和a lack of的使用区别？？有 什么异同吗

如果想要和平，那么我们就必须努力阻止战争的发生

看对现在有没有影响。如果只是简单的陈述就用一般时态

lack of的lack是动词，a lack of 的lack是名词。
例如：“新疆缺少水”可以这样说——Xinjiang lacks of water .或者There is a lack of water in Xinjiang.

其实高中只要把单词背好，平时再背点好文章增强语感就行了，语法没必要深究，像much和much a都是多的意思，关于问题3我试了下，如果要想和平，我们就必须尽一切努力避免战争。像高中知道点必要的写作语法就行了，关于一些很偏的语法没必要知道或是说花怎么多时间搞那些没意思，毕竟考试不会很偏，只要养成每天学一点的好习惯，有语感就自然选得中，没理由的选它，把数学什么的学好
