其实，我们不仅现在要为自己树立一个目标，为以后生活更美好努力，而且还应该主动去承当一些社会责任。这个暑假由学校安排，在福利院实习了一个月。在这一个月里，每天与这些老人们在一起，有些老人由于年龄大，生活已经不能自理，有些老人又是疾病缠身，都需要有专业人士看护。而大部分老人都已经无依无靠，只能靠政府和社会的救济生活。在与老人的交谈中，我们发现老人最关心的社会问题是医疗费用和药品质量。尤其是一些补钙的药品，老人深有体会，以前此类的药品价廉物美，而现在却不仅价格昂贵，而且药效下降，老人们用后不见效，于是有老人把这种情况归咎于市场改革、私营药厂代替了国营药厂，甚至于某些老人非常怀念计划经济时代。可见部分老人的思想观念还难以适应时代变革。不过，这也说明目前国家应加强药品的准入和质量监管，让老百姓不仅吃得起药，而且吃药更要有效。因此，我觉得身为80后一代，且是最接近社会的年轻一代，我们应该都主动去承担一些爱心事业。在有经济实力的同时，能伸出一份援手，多给那些需要关心的人一些帮助。
