一楼有些基本语法错误我改下：
Tim.I am so sorry about that I can't go to your birthday party.I must stay home to look after my mother.She is ill.And my father has gone to DaLian for work.He will come back on Sunday.I hope you can forgive me. I shoud go your home and give your present at this Sunday afternoon.I really feel sorry abount that.
错误说明：
1. must to stay at home，must 后加动词原形，不能说must to 什么什么，而home前可以不用介词，
2.my father is go to DaLian for a work。一个句子只能有一个谓语，此处is是be动词和go都可以做谓语，故应去掉一个，而work是不可数名词，不可加冠词a，
3.I want you can forgive me.很明显的中文式英语，出现上面说过的错误：双谓语，此处的希望用hope更恰当，而用hope时就可以说为I hope（that） you can forgive me.很明显此处hope后面省略that，引导的是从句，所以可以出现两个作为谓语的动词，一个谓语是主句i引导的，一个是从句you引导的
以上说的错误，在改错的题目中经常出现，所以说的详细些，希望对你有帮助
