be satisfied with 与　be content with　　意思基本相同，常常可以交换使用，但有一些细微差别。satisfied往往指要求或希望完全得到满足例如：Are you satisfied with the new arrangement?而content则不一定要求或希望完全得到满足，自己认可就行，例如：He seems fairly content with (his) life.
另外，还要注意以下几点：1）satisfied可以作前置定语，例如：She finished her meal and gave a satisfied smile.而content不能作前置定语。2）我们可以说be content to do sth.例如： They're content to socialize with a very small circle of people.我们很少用besatisfied to do sth.3)我们可以说be satisfied that....,但基本上不会有人说be content that...
