being 的用法

为什么other后用being ??

除了并列句之外，一个句子不能有两个谓语，所以后面的要用非谓语格式。因为语态是主动的，所以用is的现在分词格式being。这里的being是非谓语动词，但是起着谓语的作用。

being 常做动名词和现在分词。做动名词的时候意思比较灵活，可以当存在，生物，或者思想感情等。

做现在分词时候后面可以跟形容词，当然可以有被动语态，
比如：She is being taught English.
