Bluebird, the car he was driving, had been specially built for him.

When the fire had at last been put out, the forest authorities ordered several tons of a special type of grass-seed which would grow quickly. 这句话 at last 就是在had后

Bluebird, the car he was driving, had been specially built for him.
主语:Bluebird(蓝鸟),the car he was driving(从句修饰前面的主语蓝鸟,特指他驾驶的那辆)
这个 had been specially built for him.

When the fire had at last been put out, the forest authorities ordered several tons of a special type of grass-seed which would grow quickly. 这句话 at last 就是在had后

The girl dances very well.
He angrily closed the door.
He has just left for work.
We have already read the book.
He never reads such books.
He often comes to school late. / He is often late for school.
She always was late.
Very often the phone rings when I’m in the bath.
Do you go to the cinema very often?
Always remember this.
Never tell him the news.
He doesn’t usually come here. / He usually doesn’t come here.
She doesn’t always come late.
He is sometimes not satisfied with my work.
