不定代词都被视作单数，其
谓语动词用单数。
例：
现在时：everybody is here. no one is away.
nothing is impossible.
过去时：nobody was in the room at that time.
everyone was outdoor.
有例外的，就是不定代词所代替的是复数的人或物，如both, all, some, a few等，不定代词所代的东西是复数，那其谓语动词就用复数。
例：
both of us are students.
some students are good at Chinese, some are good at English.
all of us were taking exercise at that time.
only a few of us behaved badly.
