一、词义不同
1、at sale
翻译：折（降）价（出售）
例句：An estimate of velocity of the landslide at sale mountain.
洒勒山滑坡速度的估算。
2、on sale
翻译：出售；折价销售；减价出售
可以理解为形容词 只的是某一种东西正在打折出售，仅用于单一物品。
例句：The new commemorative stamps will be put on sale next week.
新的纪念邮票将于下星期发售。
3、sale
翻译：出售；销售
名词 代表（打折）出售中的所有东西，一种行为，类似于特卖场。
例句：I haven't made a sale all week.
整整一个星期我什么也没卖出去。
二、语法不同
1、at sale 可以当动词使用
例句：I tend to be a bit leery of those cut-rate commodities that flood the racks at saletime.
我对大甩卖时堆积如山的减价商品总有点不放心。
2、on sale 可以理解为形容词
例句：I wonder how much these shoes cost on sale.

3、sale 名词

三、语境不同
1、at sale 打折本身的动作

2、on sale 只的是某一种东西正在打折出售，仅用于单一物品。

3、sale 代表（打折）出售中的所有东西，一种行为，类似于特卖场。

at a sale里的sale是可数名词，通常在sale前加不定冠词a，表示出售、销售这个行为本身。
例句：These people are looking for things at a yard sale. 这些人在一个后院卖场里找自己需要的东西。sale说明在这个院子里发生买卖行为，是个售卖点。
on sale是固定词组，这里的sale依然是名词，但是on sale这个词组有两个含义
只是单纯地表明商品上市，正在出售。例：Tickets are on sale from the booking office. 售票处在售票。
指打折促销。例：All video equipment is on sale today and tomorrow. 所有录像设备今明两天降价出售。
on sale 和at great sale主要的区别在于货品廉价、削价、大减价或是贱价出售时段策略的限制有所不同。
on sale 所指的货品廉价、削价或是贱价出售时段是没有明确声明，即是说随时随刻，一天到晚，一年360日都是廉价、削价或是贱价出售， 没有特别声明限定大减价优惠的时刻期间。
at great sale 所指的货品廉价、削价或是贱价出售时段只是在指定的“大减价优惠的时刻期间”，例如：at great sale on holidays 在“假日大减价优惠的时刻”.。 即是说在非假日的时段，就没有廉价、削价、大减价或是贱价出售， 那货品价格就回复原价，在没有优惠了。
