Having determined to buy some pens ,he rushed out his room.
但这个determined可不可以作不及物动词,也就是是someone determine to do sth. ? 因为平常都是说be determined to do sth.
Having been determined to buy .....

Being surprised and happy ,he opened the door .
Surprised and happy , he opener the door .

Having been determined to find his precious pen which must be somewhere in the room, he stayed in his room all day.

(Being) surprised and happy ,he opened the door .
Surprised and happy , he opener the door .

Having been determined to buy .....

determine是可以作不及物动词的,就是sb.determine to do sth,eg.:1.He determined to go [that he (should) go] at once.
.2.His advice determined me to drink and smoke no more.
Being surprised and happy ,he opened the door .
Surprised and happy , he opener the door .

Having determined to buy some pens ,he rushed out his room
He had determined to buy some pens ,he rushed out his room
Having been determined to buy some pens ,he rushed out his room
He had been determined to buy some pens ,he rushed out his room

区别在于be determined to do和determine to do
注:be determined to do中的determined通常认为是形容词,而不是过去分词。

Being surprised and happy和surprised and happy都可以做状语

Being protected by a thick wall, they felt they were quite safe。
