Inflation generally is defined as the bank notes in circulation is more than the actual needs of commodity circulation volume caused by the currency devaluation of paper money, the price rise phenomenon. The essence of aggregate demand is greater than the total social supply.

In modern economics, inflation means the overall price level to rise. The market value of the currency of general inflation or purchasing power decline, while currency depreciation between the two economies, currency relative decrease. The former is used to describe the national currency, while the latter used to describe the added value on the international market. The correlation between the dispute as one of economics.

Law of notes in circulation show that the amount of notes issued on behalf of not more than it represents the amount of gold and silver currency, once more than this amount of paper money will depreciate, prices will rise, and thus inflation. Inflation only in the notes will appear under the conditions of circulation, in gold and silver money in circulation does not occur under the conditions of this phenomenon. Because gold and silver currency itself has value as a function of storage means, can spontaneously adjust the amount of money in circulation, making it the same commodity circulation amount of money needed to adapt. Conditions in the notes in circulation, because paper money is intrinsically valuable, it simply means that gold and silver currency symbol, can not serve as storage means, therefore, if the circulation of banknotes in circulation exceeds the required number of goods will fall.

For example: the need for commodity circulation of gold and silver in the same amount of money, but paper money circulation is more than double the amount of gold and silver currency, the unit can only be representative of paper currency to the currency unit of the Value of Gold and Silver 1 / 2, in which case , if measured with the notes price, price rise has doubled, and this is commonly referred to as the currency devaluation. At this point, the notes in circulation in circulation than the required amount of gold and silver currency has doubled, that is inflation. In macroeconomics, inflation mainly refers to the general rise in prices and wages.

Antisense of inflation is deflation. No inflation or low degree of stability of prices is called inflation.

(In a number of occasions, the word inflation means increased money supply, this sometimes resulted in price increases. A number of (Austrian) scholars still use the term to describe such a situation of inflation rather than inflation itself. Consequent, Several observers of the situation in the United States in the 1920s called "inflation", even if the price was not rising. described below, unless otherwise specified, "inflation" means the general term inflation.)

Inflation refers to the economic operation of the comprehensive and sustained rise in the phenomenon of rising prices. Banknotes in circulation in circulation exceeds the amount of money actually needed, is one of the main causes of inflation.

The last time inflation is in China in 2003 to 2008, and in 2008 after the outbreak of the international financial crisis, the stock market was in recession period, the Chinese government to boost the economy, the investment 4 trillion to stimulate the economy, but economic downturns countries begin a new currency wars, trade war, the cost of war, the international flow of capital in China, in 2010 and there is an obvious inflation.

The government is based on agricultural products, energy, real estate and other areas of the price supervision policy measures, formulate actively to curb inflation accelerating, and through introducing market competition, and actively guide the development of the private sector, and through the enterprise reform to promote enterprise, a decline in the cost of such measures to curb inflation.

Example is more. In order to curb inflation, the central bank continuously improve reserve, raise interest rates in order to achieve a goal. House prices are high because inflation is not the main reason, recently introduced gradually malicious hand to suppress house prices is a good example, and yesterday, said zhou xiaochuan just speeches' reserve-requirement ratio not limit!
