这是几段关于如何安装该软件的英文,希望哪位英语通帮忙翻译一下.非常感谢.
THIS IS HOW TO INSTALL GLOBAL SCENERY FOR X-PLANE.
FIRST INSTALL X-PANE, THEN FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS TO INSTALL SCENERY.
For Global Earth Scenery, you have 4 global scenery CD's.
They are labeled NorthWest, NorthEast, SouthWest, and SouthEast.
For Global Mars Scenery, you have 2 global scenery CD's.
They are labeled NorthMars and SouthMars.
Mars is, in reality, half the size of the planet you are currently on, so fits on half the CD's.
Each of these scenery CD contains a HUGE ZIP file.
Each of those ZIP files contains thousands of little scenery files for X-Plane.
To install these files, you must simply extract them to the nav data folder inside the same
folder that holds X-Plane. This folder that holds X-Plane is called the "X-System Folder".
It was created when you installed X-Plane!
Here is where you extract the Earth scenery files: "X-System/resources/Earth nav data".
Here is where you extract the Mars scenery files:?X-System/resources/Mars nav data".
NOTE: MAC-USERS CAN USE STUFFIT TO EXTRACT THESE FILES, BUT STUFFIT ON THE MACINTOSH HAS THE
ANNOYING HABIT OF PUTTING ALL THE SCENERY FILES IN A FOLDER CALLED "SOUTHWEST" OR "NORTHEAST",
FOR EXAMPLE. BUT YOU DO NOT WANT THAT FOLDER INSIDE YOUR EARTH NAV DATA OR MARS NAV DATA FOLDER...
YOU WANT THE =>CONTENTS<= OF THOSE FOLDERS (a bunch of folders with names like "+30-110")
INSIDE YOUR EARTH NAV DATA OR MARS NAV DATA FOLDER! Drag files as needed to accomplish this.
So, installing scenery is simply using ZIP or STUFFIT to extract files to a directory.
Easy, but what if you do not know how to use ZIP or STUFFIT?
THEN IT IS WAY PAST TIME YOU LEARNED!!!
Here is how:
Double click on the ZIP file on any of the scenery CD-ROMs and then select what directory you
want to extract the files to when prompted. To do this, you will navigate over to the hard
drive that X-Plane is installed on. For Windows users, this will probably be your C drive.
Windows users will probably see "C:/X-System/resources/Earth nav data" as the folder they
extract to, for example. Mac users will see something like
"My Hard Drive/X-System/resources/Earth nav data", or wherever you have installed X-Plane.
If ZIP or STUFFIT gives some error like "sorry, your current destination is locked", then that
means that ZIP or STUFFIT is set to try to extract the files to the CD-ROM, which is the wrong
place! You cannot extract files to a CD! You must extract the files to the hard drive! If you
get this "DDestination Locked" error, then click through the error message AND THEN SELECT THE
"X-System/resources/Earth nav data" FOLDER AS THE FOLDER THAT YOU WANT TO EXTRACT THE FILES TO.
Hit the extract button if needed and the machine will grind away for maybe 5 minutes while it
extracts the files to the "X-System/resources/Earth nav data" directory.
