其实这个词从词源上来说就很好理解了。virtual来自于virtue，本意指男子的良好品行，善良纯真的意思，试想一下virgin（处女），也是带有纯净的含义，而这种“纯”带有很抽象的含义，看不见摸不着，却真实存在，因此形容词virtual就有了事实上（表面看不到但事实存在）的意思，运用到计算机领域的虚拟现实（virtual reality），正是不物理性存在但却实际存在（"not physically existing but made to appear by software）
