Question

the teacher,with the students,is going to work on the farm this sunday.
lily with her sister is flying a kite. 为什么这两句用is而不是are？
we went to their english corner on its opening night. 夜晚不是应该用at night 吗？
class two are singing an english song in the next room.此句用are是因为class two没有加the吗?如果加the class two就应该用is 吗？
the twins were in china.they are coming here again next year. the twins不是应该用is吗？还有后半句下年来为什么用进行时，用they are going to come here again next year应该是正确的阿。

A with B 的主语看A ,虽然意思是复数，但是主语是A, withB 只是修饰A 的

当night 有形容词修饰的时候，介词用on,比如，on a rainy morning 也是同理

class two are singing an english song in the next room.此句用are是因为class two没有加the吗?如果加the class two就应该用is 吗？

因为主语是class two，表示二班所有的学生，因此是复数，这里的class 是集合名词，和加不加the 无关，集合名词你要判断是指个人还是集体，个人的是复数，集体的是单数，比如family.police 也是同理

the twins不是应该用is吗？

主语是twins ,已经加了s,长相就是复数，意思是双胞胎，两个人，因此是复数，用are,were
they are going to come here again next yea

这是现在进行时表将来，和will 的区别是，现在进行时和一般现在时表将来表示这件事情一定会做，而will 的可能性很小，不如现在进行时这么确定

还有，四个位移动词，go,come,arrive,leave 也习惯用现在进行时表将来

1 因为两个句子的主语都是三单，the teacher，和 Lily。后面的with 短语，是修饰 主语的，但是不是主语的一部分。
2 on its opening night 在它的开张的夜晚
3 用 is 或 are，要看作者想表示的是班里的人，还是想强调一个班。这里用 are ，强调的是二班的同学们。
4 the twins 是这双胞胎的两个人，所以用 are。
另外，come 有特殊的用法，就是在现在进行时的时候，表示的是将来的动作。
比如：I'm coming。实际上，我还没来呢。正在来的过程中。
不过，这种用法，口语里或者非正式的场合用的比较多。正式的文件里，尽量不要用。
