Dragon Boat Festival, also known as the Dragon Boat Festival, is the fifth
day of the fifth month of the fifth lunar month every year, with the Spring
Festival, Qingming Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival and known as the four
traditional Chinese folk festivals.
龙舟节又称端午节，为每年农历五月初五，与春节、清明节、中秋节并称为中国民间四大传统节日。

There are many versions of the origin of dragon boat racing, such as
offering sacrifices to Cao'e, to Qu Yuan, to water gods or dragon gods, whose
origins can be traced back to the Warring States Period.
关于赛龙舟的起源，有多种说法，有祭曹娥，祭屈原，祭水神或龙神等祭祀活动，其起源可追溯至战国时代。
The size of the dragon boat is different. Generally, it is narrow and

On May 18, 2010, the Ministry of Culture of China announced the list of the
third batch of items recommended by the list of state-level intangible cultural
heritage. Yuanling County, Hunan Province, Wanjiang District, Dongguan City,
Guangdong Province, and Tongren City and Zhenyuan County, Guizhou Province
jointly declared the "Dragon Boat Race" to be included in the intangible
cultural heritage of traditional sports, recreation and acrobatics.
2010年5月18日，中国文化部公布了第三批国家级非物质文化遗产名录推荐项目名单(新入选项目)。湖南省沅陵县，广东省东莞市万江区，贵州省铜仁市、镇远县联合申报的“赛龙舟”入选，列入传统体育、游艺与杂技项目类的非物质文化遗产。
