It is commonly believed that the scientists invented many useful things in the world by their creativity. If they were not creative, they would invent something.
We cannot deny the fact that many young students do not have an access to creativity in our country. In China, for example, the students are given to skills directly at an early age. So they need not think how and why. The American, on the other hand, place more emphasis on promoting creativity in young children.Apparently, there is a contrast between learning styles in China and the west.And we always ignore the role of creativity in children's education. So I think that is the reason that our country fails to have many famous scientists.
In my opinions, if we want to change the current situation, measures have to be taken to make our students more creative. To begin with, our country's education system should be reformed and innovated, which means that children should develop creative spirits since the childhood. So the real challenge to us teachers and parents is encouraging children to develop their creative spirits by varied ways. Last but not least, children should increase their imagination by themselves. As the saying goes, imagination is the beginning of creation. Parents and teachers tend to avoid rushing in to assist their children as they try to accomplish a task, thinking it better that children should learn to solve problems by themselves.
I truly think, only by developing the creativity of children, can we develop economic and other things.
