Although it takes place under the condition of necessary amount of
accumulative strains (critical strain), the chemical composition, original
condition after solidification, stress, strain, strain rate, inter-stand cooling and
inter-pass time, rolling temperature schedule, after-rolling cooling, and coiling,
all of these, are related to this phenomenon. It is a combination result of
multi-variations and multi-factors. Concerning ferrite/pearlite steels, it is called
deformation induced ferrite transformation and will be introduced in detail.
