1. 不定式一般用于表示目的、动作的将来时态中（也就是动作还未发生的时候）使用，比如：
I get up early in the morning to catch the bus.(表示目的，也表示catch the bus 这个动作在get up之后发生，也就是将来的时间)
2. 现在分词可以做定语、表示动作正在进行、动词与主语之间是主动的关系等，比如：
There is a flying object in the sky.(flying做object的定语，也表示动作正在进行)
Looking down from the plane, I found everything became much smaller.(looking down表示look down 的主语是I，这个动作是由I发出的，表示主动。也就是说逗号前的句子与逗号后的句子的主语是同一个)
3. 过去分词表示被动、动作的完成、做定语等。
The fallen tree blocked the road.(fallen表示动作完成，即已经倒下的树)
I have finished my homework.(表示动作完成)
He left with a broken heart.(broken做定语，表示破碎的心)
The broken glass had been cleaned up. (broken定语。其实暗含的意思为glass是被打碎的。)
