My favorite book is "The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fizgerald. The book traces the experience of a bank employee Nick Carraway after he moved to the most wealthy part of New York City, where he meets Jay Gatsby. In his journey, Nick is first impressed with Gatsby's show of immense wealth, but then gets entangled in a love triangle and discovers Gatsby's secrets. The book explores the themes of the American Dream, social status,wealth and love . The most impressive part to me is the lyricism and imagery seen throughout the book, which perfectly capture the feeling of 1920s America.
