摘要
声光Q 开关是利用声光相互作用以控制光腔损耗的Q 开关技术。声光调Q 是通过电声转换形成超声波使调制介质折射率发生周期性变化, 对入射光起衍射作用, 使之发生衍射损耗,Q 值下降, 激光振荡不能形成,在很多领域得到广泛的应用。本文所要讨论的是其中的一种广泛使用的Q 开关方式,既在光泵激励下其上能级反转粒子数不断积累并达到饱和值, 这时突然撤除超声场, 衍射效应立即消失,腔内Q 值猛增, 激光振荡迅速恢复, 其能量以巨脉冲形式输出。其主要优点是重复频率高,性能稳定可靠。
