Money or gifts, which should we send?
As the most important vacation, the Spring Festival has been given many meanings. Sharing is one of them. Traditionally, children could get money from the elders as a custom to accept blessing or good wishes. As well as adults‘ sending gifts. But since the process of chossing appropriate gifts isn't that easy.More and more people are turning to sending moeny insted of goods.
Money can buy it, whatever can be purchased.That's true. also the main reason of apperent material or money priority phenomenon. But on the other hand, it is the costs or the efforts behind the gifts that matters most when we look back to the original of sending gifts. To that point of view, sending money isn't a good choice.
As a participant and observer, some basic views forms in my head. Money or gifts, which to send? That depends on the relationship and expectation of the reciever. For famly members and close friends, they may care more than the price of gifts but how much you care about them.But at the same time. for those who judge your priority by how much yuan you've paid for their gifts, money talks the best!
