英文问题，求解！

Question

1.in our factory there are 2000 workers,two thirds of ( ) are women. 答案是whom,为什么不可以填them.
2.he couldn't finish the meal, she had give him ( ) much.
A.very so B.quite C.rather too D.many so 答案是C，求解. 还有解释一下这四个词的区别
3.they appear (to have been injured) in the accident. 后面是to have是因为appear后面加to do 吗？
4.father often turns to the doctor for ( ) about his heart trouble. 答案是advice. 但是不是有个词组是turn to sb for help么，这里问什么不填help.
5.help yourself for sth和 help yourself to sth 哪一个正确？
6.众所周知有好几个词组，除了it is known to all...that ,as far as i know ,还有哪些？

1，如果填them，后面就成了一个句子。这样的话，两个句子在一起要有连词，也就是第二个句子要加个and。
2，除了C，基本不会出现其他三种说法。可以说so much, very much, 但一般没有very so much, many so much, quite much。so very much 倒也有。too much 就很常用了，在它基础上可以说 rather too much, a bit too much, quite too much, 但这些并不是所谓的词组。很多时候是习惯，不要过度钻语法。
3，不要记appear to do。如果要说语法，appear很多时候是连系动词，不是行为动词。
4，要是后面没有about...就可以用help了。
5，help yourself to ... 请随意用...； help yourself for sth 没听过。
6，as far as i know不是众所周知，是据我所知。it is known to all that... ; it is well/widely known that...; As is known to everone, ...; As we all know, ...; Everyone knows that... ; 说穿了只有中文说“众所周知”，英文只说“大家都知道”追问

为什么没有about才可以用help啊？

"about his heart trouble"是个后置的定语,修饰前面的中心语。 用advice,就是关于....的建议; 用help, 就成了关于....的帮助，但是象这种(.....give me some )"help about...." 确实没见过，而(.....give me some )"advice about...." 就很自然了。
